A Collaboration With Place

A commissioned artwork is an invitation to create a piece that carries the story, energy and physical essence of a place that matters deeply to you.

These works are created in my signature mixed-media style and may include earth, stone, sand or natural materials collected from your home or land — thoughtfully and respectfully integrated into the artwork during the painting process.

Each commission is slow, intentional and deeply considered. For this reason, I accept a limited number of commissions each year.

Is a Commission Right for You?

A commissioned piece may be a beautiful fit if:

  • You are drawn to my existing body of work and trust my artistic direction

  • You value process, symbolism and subtle energy over literal representation

  • You are open to a collaborative approach, rather than a prescriptive brief

Please note:

  • I do not replicate existing artworks

  • Composition, texture and materials remain guided by my creative process

  • Colour palettes may be gently considered, but are not guaranteed

The Process

1. Commission Enquiry
Begin by submitting a commission request. I’ll send you a short form to better understand your space, preferred size, timeline and the story behind the piece.

2. Conversation & Alignment
If the project feels aligned, we’ll continue the conversation via email or a short Zoom call to confirm details and ensure we’re a good fit.

3. Agreement & Deposit
Once confirmed, you’ll receive a commission agreement outlining the scope, timeline and payment schedule. A 50% deposit secures your place in my commission calendar.

4. Creation
Your artwork will be created over an estimated 8–12 weeks. During this time, I work intuitively and without interim approvals to honour the integrity of the process.

5. Completion & Delivery
Once complete, final payment is due prior to shipping. Your artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped to you, ready to hang or frame as agreed.

Investment

Commission pricing reflects the time, materials and bespoke nature of each piece.

Commissioned works are created as complete, ready-to-hang artworks. All prices include professional framing, using the artist’s trusted printer and framer, with frames offered in a curated selection of oak, black, or white. Prices are in AUD.
